Stanford Business School Idea Factory: Interaction and UI/UX design app where I served as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and lead product designer. The slides you see below are the pitch presentation from 2021 where our team was picked as one of the top projects for investing.
In 2021, the surge in demand for Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals saw more than 500,000 athletes actively seeking opportunities. Despite the growing interest, the landscape was cluttered with over 75 NIL marketplaces, none of which proved entirely reliable. This lack of dependability resulted in a staggering 80% of student-athletes struggling to secure any NIL deals.

Recognizing the gap between athletes and NIL marketplaces, 1NIL emerged as a groundbreaking solution, a group-centered platform revolutionizing the way student-athletes engage in NIL deals. Think LinkedIn but for athletes seeking NIL opportunities. The unique approach of group-centered NIL deals sets 1NIL apart, providing a convenient app where student-athletes can navigate and secure deals more efficiently.
By focusing on creating a community-driven space for NIL negotiations, 1NIL aims to level the playing field, offering a lifeline to low and mid-tier athletes who may have been overlooked in the crowded and unreliable marketplace. This innovative platform not only connects athletes with opportunities but also fosters a supportive environment that recognizes and values the diverse talents within the sports community.
